The month of July, 2014 Nikki Bella took part in a handicap match with Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only was there to face Nikki Bella. Then she was able to play Naomi at the Battleground occasion prior to the main event. Ariana took the win. Their rivalry was born as a result. They wrestled in a variety of singles and tag matches during the summer. Throughout the summer of Ariana wrestled alongside fellow wrestlers Alicia Fox Paige Bella Twins and Asuka. WWE has announced in 2016 that Ariana's contract was cut off after two consecutive months of non-activity. Arina is now a part of WWE NXT since her resignation.
