Monsalve is most well-known for her role as the lead vocalist of the group of Venezuelans called Tartara as well as Latin Fiesta from London. The TV show she hosted was the early morning program Alo RCTV in Caracas for more than a year. Following her move from Venezuela to United States from Venezuela in 2002, she was involved in several stage plays and television productions. In the following years, she was appointed as the Hispanic ambassador for Rooms to Go, a furniture company. She was appointed as the local Telemundo affiliate's sports reporter for the 6 pm newscast in 2005. Monsalve was employed by ESPN Deportes as a Sports Anchor from 2007. The station broadcast Sports Center Hispanic to North Americans, and also via ESPN 2 Central America and South America. Monsalve confirmed that she was going to ESPN in November of 2014. She later confirmed she had joined Univision Deportes.
